CPI leader Sambasiva Rao slams Rajagopal

Hyderabad, Oct.30 (NSS): CPI state secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao today slammed BJP candidate from Munugodu assembly constituency Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and alleged that the former MLA of the constituency quit from his post in order to earn Rs.18,000 crore from the contracts allotted by the Central government.

Addressing a public meeting at Bangarigadda of Chandur mandal, Rao urged the voters of the constituency to cast their vote for the ruling TRS party candidate Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy and ensure his massive victory in the by-electinons.

Referring to the comments of Rajagopal Reddy that he is fighting a war of justice in the constituency, Rao mocked that the word justice would not suit for the Komatireddy brothers. Targeting Congress party MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Rao alleged that Venkat Reddy had become the star campaigner of the BJP instead of his own party in the by-elections. He said that the onus teaching a befitting lesson to Komatireddy brothers lies on the shoulders of the voters of Munugodu. Taking strong exception to the abusive commetns of Rajagopal Reddy, the CPI state secretary warned the BJP leader to control his mouth and added that they would cut his tongue if he did not stop his diatribe against them. Rao made it clear that the CPI has its own supporters in the constituency.

He made it clear that the left party leaders did not sell themselve like Rajagopal Reddy and added that Rajagopal Reddy sold himself to the BJP for Rs.18,000 crores. He asked Rajagopal Reddy as to what he did for the people of Munugodu in the last three and half year of his term.

Targeting state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar for his public vow at Yadadri temple, he told Sanjay the presiding deity of Yadadri temple Sri Laxminarasimha Swami would not forgive him for his lies. Rao made it clear that the TRS party and the left parties would fight all future elections as alliance partners.
