“We extend all support to the affected families in Lagacherla. If the Congress government prevents us from speaking to the families, then it will be made a State issue,” CPM State Secretary T Veerabhadram said here on Monday.
Addressing media persons, the CPM leader said unrest was prevailing in Lagacherla and neighboring villages. People were restricted from going to their own homes, and villages were being converted into jails. He pointed out that the Internet was disconnected.
