Crack Down On Non-Duty Paid Liquor

Hyderabad, Oct 16 (Maxim News): Deputy Commissioner P. Dasharath has directed the task force officials to clamp down on drugs and non-duty-paid liquor.

A review meeting was held with the Excise officials under Ranga Reddy district at Abkari Bhavan, speaking on this occasion, he said that the performance of excise officers and stations in September is satisfactory. He said that 56 cases were registered after conducting raids on illicit liquor manufacturing centers. 53 people were arrested and 111 liters of illicit liquor were seized.

After strict measures were taken in Dhoolpet, there was information that ganja businesses were selling from the surrounding areas of Hyderabad, and more vigilance was ordered to eradicate ganja and drugs. It is suggested that charge sheets should be filed in pending cases and that there should be no price differences in the sale of liquor.
