Hyderabad: Creators of Tomorrow Buildathon 2026 has entered its final stage as Radha TMT prepares to host the grand finale on February 21, 2026, at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. The initiative is described as a first of its kind Civil Engineering Innovation Platform exclusively for civil engineering students across Telangana.
Hyderabad Collector Smt. Harichandana Dasari, IAS, has consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event is expected to bring together students, academicians, government officials, and industry leaders on a single platform.
The Creators of Tomorrow Buildathon 2026 was conceptualised to celebrate young engineering talent and promote innovation. The organisers stated that civil engineering forms the backbone of a nation’s development. Civil engineers design and build essential infrastructure such as roads, bridges, dams, buildings, and water systems. Therefore, infrastructure plays a key role in trade, water security, public health, and economic growth. In this context, Radha TMT launched the Buildathon to inspire the next generation of nation builders.
Centred on the theme “Green & Sustainable Construction for a Greener Future,” the competition aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs. Students were encouraged to present innovative, scalable, and practical engineering solutions to address modern infrastructure challenges.
The competition drew participation from nearly 30 premier engineering colleges across Telangana. The multi stage selection process began with 90 second idea pitches at the college level. Then, shortlisted teams delivered live online technical presentations. Industry experts evaluated submissions based on technical strength, innovation, scalability, and practical relevance. After rigorous assessment, the Top 7 finalist teams were selected to present their working models at the grand finale.
The event will feature live presentations by finalist teams. It will also include keynote addresses, interactive knowledge sessions, cultural performances, and an awards and felicitation ceremony. Meanwhile, the competition offers cash prizes worth over ₹5,00,000. It also provides internship opportunities, industry recognised certifications, factory visits, ISO training exposure, and interaction with leading construction professionals.
