Cricketer Mithali Raj calls on JP Nadda
Hyderabad, Aug.27 (Maxim News): Cricketer Mithali Raj today called on BJP national president JP Nadda at Novotel hotel here. Nadda, who landed in the city to take part in the public meeting being held at Warangal district, held a one-to-one private meeting with Mithali. It is learnt that the two have discussed about the current political situation in the State and the country.
Earlier, Union minister for tourism & culture G. Kishan Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP Dr K. Laxman and others welcomed Nadda at the airport. Mithali was showing keen interest in joining politics after her retirement from cricket. She is likely to join the BJP in the days to come. (Maxim News)
