Crime Rate Decreased In Telangana: Mahmood Ali
Hyderabad, Jan.17 (Maxim News): The Home Minister Mohammad Mahamood Ali today said that Telangana was the only state recruiting huge number of police personnel. He also said that crime rate was on decline in the state while noting that friendly policing and effective law and order were behind the decline of the crime rate in the state. Citing that the effective coordination and spontaneous services are part of good policing, he said that the state was offering better protection to its people and maintaining law and order in the state. He made these remarks after inaugurating a training program for a batch of 267 new constables. The program was held at held at CAR headquarters petlaburj in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, the home minister said that Telangana was also providing better salaries to the police constables. After nine months of training the constables will join duties he said while noting that the trainee constables would get good salary during their training program. He asked them to work hard to achieve the vision of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to work effectively and offer friendly services. He said that the effective work of She Teams of the state had helped them reduce the eve teasing of the women. Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar also spoke on the occasion. He advised the trainee police men to follow time sense to offer better services.
Earlier, CP Hyderabad Anjani Kumar and other senior officers of the police department welcomed the Home minister. The induction training program for over 16,000 police constables and SI’s was started today across Telangana state. During the training a stipend of Rs.9000/- for constables and Rs.11000/- for SI’s will be given (Maxim News)
