Crime Rate Surged Under Rachakonda Commissionerate: CP Sudheer Babu

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (Maxim News): Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Sudheer Babu said that the number of crimes has increased under Rachakonda Commissionerate in the year 2023.

Releasing the crime report for the year 2023 to the media on Wednesday. He said that the number of crimes has increased by 6.8 per cent compared to last year. In the year 2022, the number of cases was 27,664 were registered, this year it has gone up to 29,166 cases. He said, Cyber crime cases have increased by 25 per cent. Cases of chain snatching, rape and general theft have reduced. Cases of sexual assault, murder and kidnapping of children have increased. He also said that PD Act has been registered against 12 people in the drug case. He revealed that 698 people were arrested in 282 drug cases.  (Maxim News)
