Crushed By Debt, Couple Ends Life In Telangana

Siddipet/Hyderabad, Dec 21 (Maxim News): A terrible tragedy has taken place in Siddipet district. A couple committed suicide after consuming pesticide. This tragic incident took place in Dacharam, Bejjanki mandal.

Vadlakonda Sriharsha and Rukmini run a clothing store in Bejjanki. Sriharsha acted as a mediator and lent lakhs of money to his relative Palle Anil from Ravikanti Abhishek, Pappula Rajasekhar, Vangala Bhupathi Reddy and Nampally Srinivas. Anil could not repay the money on time. No matter how many times he asked to pay the money, Anil ignored him.

On the other hand, Abhilash and Bhupathi Reddy had been threatening Sriharsha repeatedly to pay their money immediately. On Saturday, Sriharsha was given a stern warning in front of his family members.

Family members shed tears as they said that Sriharsha and Rukmini, who were mentally depressed and worried about losing their reputation in the village, committed suicide by consuming insecticide. It is learnt that the couple committed suicide by writing their names in the suicide note, saying that they were mentally harassed by those who had given them loans.

After learning about the matter, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. The suicide of the very happy couple has created a deep tragedy in Dacharam village. (Maxim News)
