CS Directs Officials To Make Pucca Arrangements For Intermediate, SSC Exams

Hyderabad, Jan.6 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said officials concerned to make fool proof arrangements for conduct of examinations smoothly and whole process should be done in systematic way.

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar held a review meeting today at BRKR Bhavan with the officials of Board of Intermediate, SSC Board, Centre for Good Governance and TSTS on conduct of ensuing Intermediate and SSC Exams. The CS reviewed the preparedness of arrangements for smooth conduct of exams and suggested various measures. He emphasized the need to ensure that the mistakes happened last year, should not recur.

Somesh Kumar said the recommendations of the three-member committee were implemented in toto by both the departments. Additional measures will also be taken and every evaluator will be trained thoroughly and made aware of the mistakes which happen generally, so that the students will not suffer. He asked the officials to sensitize the evaluators by imparting training with standardized presentation. Necessary steps should be implemented in all the evaluation centers as per the recommendations of the three-member Committee.

Somesh Kumar said Online grievance redressal system will be placed and students can approach the website to solve their problems and also directed the officials to set up help desks in the districts. He exhorted the officials to prepare a regular calendar of events from admission to final publication of results. The IT modules should be tested properly to avoid errors, he advised the officials.

The officials informed the Chief Secretary that the Intermediate Examinations will begin from March 4 to 23 and the SSC Exams from March 19 to 6 April, 2020. In Intermediate, 9.65 lakh and in SSC Board 5.08 lakh students are appearing for the exams. All the preparations regarding exams will be taken up, they said. They also briefed the Pre and Post Examination Modules to the Chief Secretary. The officials also briefed about centre constitution, jumbling, issue of hall tickets, results, processing of mark sheets and so on.
