Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Maxim News): S.P. Singh, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana and Chairman, Board of Governors, Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) has released the first copy of the Calendar here on Tuesday
EPTRI has two ENVIS Centres – Status of Ecology of Eastern Ghats and State of Environment and Related Issues (SoE&RI) sponsored by Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India with an Objective to ensure integration of national efforts in environmental information collection, collation, storage, retrieval, dissemination and conservation of endangered plants species.
EPTRI has conducted three National seminars on conservation of Eastern Ghats. ENVIS centres bring out quarterly newsletters titled Ecology of Eastern Ghats( in English) and Toorpukanmalu in vernacular language (Telugu) and Paryavaranam. It is now preparing the State of Environment Reports for Telangana and Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
