- National Academy invites online applications for advanced training
Hyderabad: Cyber Security online training opened for applications across Telangana as the National Academy of Cyber Security announced statewide enrolment for its courses. The academy began accepting online applications for Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking programmes, which it described as among the most prestigious in India and abroad. The move aims to help students and working professionals gain skills in an expanding digital sector.
Officials said students who completed Inter, Degree, PG, Polytechnic Diploma and Engineering can apply. They also said employees working in software, IT, banking, finance, healthcare, defence, police, retail, e commerce and education sectors are eligible. The academy stated that applicants can take all courses online, which will help both fresh learners and professionals upgrade their skills. Meanwhile, the announcement is expected to draw interest from youth exploring careers in technology.
The programmes include Cyber Security Officer training, Diploma in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, PG Diploma in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking and a Master programme in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. The training period ranges from five months to ten months. The academy said certificates will be issued under the auspices of a central government organisation. Therefore, it expects strong response from students seeking recognised qualifications.
The academy also said candidates who complete Cyber Security courses will get wide employment opportunities in India and abroad. It noted that trained candidates can work in software, IT, banking, finance, healthcare, retail, e commerce and education sectors. Job roles include Cyber Security Officer, Information Officer, Information Analyst, Penetration Tester, Security Architect, IT Security Engineer, Security Systems Administrator and Trainer. These roles reflect growing demand for trained professionals as digital systems expand across industries.
The National Academy of Cyber Security said the online format will help more people join the programmes. It also said the sector continues to grow, and trained candidates will meet rising workforce needs in critical areas of security and data protection. The academy urged eligible candidates to apply online and make use of the training window now open in Telangana.
