DCC Presidents Urged to Strengthen Congress at District Level
Vikarabad, Feb. 22: TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud has called upon District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents to further strengthen the party at the grassroots level and build closer ties with the people.
He stated that coordination, discipline, and a spirit of service are essential for enhancing the Congress party’s popularity across districts.
Mahesh Kumar Goud was speaking on the second day of the AP and Telangana DCC Presidents’ training camp held at Ananthagiri in Vikarabad.
Focus on Organisational Strengthening
The special training programme is being conducted as part of the ‘Sanghatan Srujan Abhiyan’ initiative. The primary objective is to reinforce the party’s organisational structure and enhance leadership capabilities.
During the camp, DCC presidents are being given comprehensive guidance on the current political scenario, public issues, and effective response strategies. Additionally, discussions are being held on the implementation of party policies and strengthening booth-level structures.
Telangana Jana Samithi President Kodandaram also participated in the programme.
Ten-Day Intensive Training Programme
The ten-day camp aims to equip party leaders with key skills. These include leadership development, strategies to address public grievances, election planning, and action-oriented programmes.
Moreover, sessions are being conducted by experts on social media management, media handling, and campaign strategy. Party leaders believe that such structured training will help DCC chiefs function more effectively and expand the party’s base at the district level.
