Kishan Reddy said that during the Rakhi festival, the Central government has decided to reduce the gas cooking gas price by Rs. 200 is a good result.  He said that after Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations on September 17, the BJP will undertake a yatra across the State, and the BJP leaders will meet the people of the Assembly constituencies.

He criticized the KCR government in the state for not reducing the prices of petrol and diesel in the state, while all other states in the country have reduced it.  The price of petrol and diesel is highest in the country in Telangana.  He said that when all the states reduce the taxes on petrol and lower the prices as per the Prime Minister’s call, the Telangana government has put a burden on the people by not reducing the states’ taxes.
