Deepika Padukone is recovering well
Mumbai, September 28: Hours after Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was rushed to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after she complained of uneasiness, recent reports suggest that the ‘Piku’ star is recovering well.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, the actress underwent a number of tests in the hospital on Monday evening. The report added that Deepika is feeling much better now.
However, no statement on her health condition has been officially released by the 36-year-old or her team. The report further revealed that the actress in a stressful situation before she was rushed to the hospital located in the Breach Candy area of South Mumbai.
This is the second time in less than six months that Padukone has had a health situation. Earlier in June, Padukone was taken to a hospital after she fell sick on the sets of the Nag Ashwin film ‘Project K‘ with Telugu star Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
Padukone was rushed to the Kamineni Hospital on June 16 where she underwent several tests. Contrary to the initial reports, doctors at the hospital claimed that the actress was admitted after she complained of gastric issues. After receiving the treatment, the actress resumed shooting with co-stars Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.
Padukone’s battle with depression is a known fact as the actress has been pretty vocal about it and has never shied away from sharing her inspiring story. To put her thoughts into action, she also runs the Live, Love, Laugh Foundation to create awareness about mental health, reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, and provide access to credible resources for those suffering.
On the work front, the actress will be next seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Pathaan’ along with her ‘Desi Boyz’ co-star John Abraham. Meanwhile, the ‘Tamasha’ actress is making her debut in Telugu cinema with ‘Project K’, which is reportedly being made on a whopping Rs 500 crore budget.
