Delay in declaration of results not acceptable: Etala Rajender
Hyderabad: Former minister and BJP MLA Etala Rajender today took strong exception on the issue of the declaration of Munugodu by-election results by the Election Commission of India.
Alleging that the Election Commission delayed the declaration of the round-wise results, Etala said it was not acceptable to them. He said CM KCR had lost the by-election on moral grounds and added that the CM did not learn the lessons from the election results of Dubbaka and Huzurabad Assembly constituencies. He said the CM would not have conditions to work in a focused manner like he focused on Munugodu Assembly constituency in the next Assembly elections. Stating that the time to influence people by using money and liquor had gone in the State, Etala said the BJP had registered a moral victory in Munugodu. He claimed that the people of the constituency had voted for the BJP by ignoring the promises of the CM to build roads and drainages in Munugodu. (NSS)
