He spoke to the media in Hyderabad saying “In Saipriya Enclave, small employees and poor people bought land about 30 years ago. As the Congress party came to power the existing structures were demolished instinctively. It is worse to demolish structures now that the land prices have increased.  If that was the illegal lands, then, how they gave permission for construction of houses and housing loans should be answered.  If a problem arises, it is not an excuse for the government to resort to violence. Due to the attitude of Congress, 300 small-time workers fell on the road.  It is not right to interfere with the land purchased 30, 40 years ago now.

He pointed out that former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has lost power only because of committing such actions. When the victims call officials and ministers to talk on this issue, they are not talking. Demolition of poor people’s houses in Peerzadiguda is atrocious. Etala said that the BJP will definitely stop the evil done by the government.  (Maxim News)
