Deputy CM Bhatti Inaugurates 33/11 KV Power Substation In Wanaparthy

Wanaparthy/Hyderabad, August 2, 2025: In a major boost to rural electrification and infrastructure in Telangana, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu inaugurated a newly constructed 33/11 KV power substation at Vellaturu village in Chinnambavi mandal, Wanaparthy district. The substation, built at a cost of Rs. 175.80 lakh, aims to improve electricity supply and reduce transmission losses in the region.

On the occasion, the Deputy CM also planted a sapling within the substation premises as part of the state’s commitment to green energy and sustainable development.

Strengthening Telangana’s Power Infrastructure

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the participation of several key leaders, including Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, MP Mallu Ravi, and Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy. The dignitaries highlighted the government’s focus on strengthening power infrastructure in rural and semi-urban areas to ensure uninterrupted electricity to farmers, households, and industries.

Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka was warmly welcomed by Vedic scholars and priests with a Poornakumbha ceremony. The highlight of the event was the affectionate gesture by local schoolchildren, who greeted the Deputy CM with a flower shower, earning praise from the attendees.

Powering Progress in Wanaparthy

The newly inaugurated 33/11 KV substation is expected to benefit thousands of residents across Chinnambavi mandal and nearby villages. The improved grid reliability will reduce outages and support agricultural productivity, aligning with the state’s goal of “24×7 Power for All.”
