DGP inaugurates renovated building of TS Retd. Police Officersq

• The Renovated Building sponsored by Mr. S.P Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of SLN Terminus, in memory of S.L.N Reddy, Founding Secretary, Telangana Retired Police Officers Association, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 19 (Maxim News): When approached by the Telangana Retired Police Officers Association (TRPOA), Mr. Anurag Sharma, Director General of Police of Telangana State very graciously allotted a building for their use.

To fit the needs of the TRPOA, extensive renovation had to be performed. To facilitate this work and as part of its continued corporate social responsibility in general and assistance to the Police Department in particular, leading infrastructure company, SLN Terminus donated Rs. 35,00,000 to TRPOA for building renovation. SLN Terminus had also previously donated Rs. 5,00,000 to the TRPOA.

Mr. Anurag Sharma, Director General of Police of Telangana State inaugurated the newly renovated building here on Sunday at Begumpet, Hyderabad.

Mr. Sharma said “We believe that retired police officers deserve a high standard of living, and therefore, we support programs aimed at improving health, education and the environment.Let us demonstrate our commitment towards a safe and secure Telangana State”.

Commending the hard work put in by the SLN Terminus in renovating the new building, the DGP said that it now has a pleasant and modern environment unlike the old building which presented a gloomy look.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. S.P Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of SLN Terminus “In the memory of my father, Mr. S.L.N Reddy, we are delighted to be sponsoring the building renovation at this new location. This is just the latest way we have been able to extend our support to the Police Department. Among other things, in 2009, we had built a 2 person security facility for Police Personnel at Nilofer Hospital and, in 2015, donated a brand new Bolero Jeep and five motorcycles to the CyberabadCommissioner for induction into the Police department in 2015.We have been a supporter of the police departmentfor a long time and we are keen to take this further.”

Mr. Reddy thanked and appreciated the efforts of the DGP, Mr. Anurag Sharma and the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mahender Reddy in their leadership in ensuing public safety, citizen partnership and improved service delivery by the Police,.
