Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): Telangana DGP Dr Jitender along with Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand, South Zone DCP Sneha Mehra visited the fire accident spot at Gulzar Houz near Charminar here on Sunday.
At least 17 people died after a major fire broke out at a three-storey building in Gulzar House near Charminar, officials said.
According to Fire department officials, they received a call at around 6.30 am and rushed to the spot. Several people were found unconscious and shifted to various hospitals.
Earlier, PM Modi and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the incident with the Centre announcing Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to kin of the victims. (Maxim News)
