Dhanush Srikanth Sets World Record At Tokyo Deaflympics

Dhanush Srikanth set a new world record and secured two gold medals at the Tokyo Deaflympics 2025, marking a major moment for Indian shooting. KLH Global Business School in Hyderabad announced that its BBA student won gold in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event and another gold in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event. His performance drew national attention and brought pride to the institution.
Officials said Dhanush scored 252.2 in the finals of the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event. This score set a new world record. They added that he created a Deaflympics record earlier in the qualification round. He shot 630.6 to move into the finals with strong confidence. These results showed his steady rise at the global level.
The victory also added to his growing list of achievements. The input states that these medals are his third and fourth Deaflympics gold medals. He won two gold medals earlier at the 2022 Deaflympics in Brazil. Therefore, his wins in Tokyo continue his strong run and highlight India’s expanding presence in top shooting events.
