Disha Killers Got What They Deserved: Chokka Rao
Hyderabad, Dec.6 (Maxim News): “Justice delayed is justice denied, what happened today to the culprits in the Disha rape and murder case is totally justified. Legal action is a long process and Justice delayed is justice denied”, opined P. Chokka Rao, general secretary of All India Confederation of The Blind.
“I admire the police for physically eliminating the four culprits, who were trying to escape from police custody. Stringent action must be taken for crime against women. Women are the essential part of the society. Half of the population is women. There is no HE without SHE. He is just a part of SHE. Man is just a part of Wo’man’. This nation respects women. I salute the police and the rifle that punished the culprits”, he said.
Chokka Rao said the crimes were occurring due to lack of opportunities in education, training and employment and free money was given to youth by the government. By giving a lot of things free of cost, the government was making youth lazy and lethargic, he said.
For example, he said, “Rs 3,000 pension was being given to the blind children from birth onwards. As a secretary of All India Confederation of Blind and general secretary of the Development and Welfare Association of the Blind, I feel that it is the government’s duty to provide suitable education, training and employment to the youth. The society should not expect anything free from the government. (Maxim News)
