Distribution Of Double Bedroom Houses In Installments From Sept. 2: Talasani

Hyderabad, September 01: The Telangana government will construct double bedroom houses and distribute the first installment free of charge on September 2 for the poor to live with self-respect, said the State Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said in a press conference on the distribution of bedroom houses along with City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Mayor Mote Srilata Shobhan Reddy, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetti and Housing OSD Suresh at the GHMC headquarters on Friday. At the locations on September 2, the Ministers, Mayor, Deputy Speaker and other public representatives said that 11,700 houses will be distributed to the beneficiaries of 24 constituencies under the GHMC. He said that the double bedroom plots will be allotted through lottery in the presence of the beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister of the state said that double bedroom houses will be built and given like nowhere else in the country. He said that 7 lakh people applied under GHMC, out of which only 95 thousand were found eligible. He said that the revenue department has taken up the verification related to these. He said that in the first phase, 11,700 people have been given information on the allocation of double bedroom houses. He said that Hyderabad District Collector, MMAROs and Nodal Officers will coordinate to bring the beneficiaries to the allotted location. He said that unlike anywhere in the country, Hyderabad city will innovatively build double bedroom houses with all basic facilities for the poor without spending a penny. He said that the scheme of double bedroom houses is the dream project of the Chief Minister of the state. The Minister recalled that the then Governor Narasimhan, who visited the double bedroom houses in IDH Colony, gave a book that they were better than the quarters given to IAS and IPS in Delhi.

He said that they will distribute fully constructed double bedroom houses in ten or 15 days. He said that we are allocating double bedroom houses following the government guidelines. Apart from these, under the Griha Lakshmi scheme, Rs. 3 lakhs will provide financial assistance, he said. He said that the Indiramma houses used to be narrow in the past, but the double bedroom houses being constructed are now being built with an area of ​​560 square feet. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that in the past, double bedroom houses were transparently distributed in Muralidhar Bagh, Mushirabad, Sanat Nagar, Secunderabad, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Knuckles Road Ambedkar Nagar.
