Distribution Of Wastelands By The End Of This Month: KCR 

Hyderabad, Feb 10 (Maxim News):  Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced of the distribution of wastelands will commence by the end of this month.  He also announced that after distribution, will provide Rythu Bandhu, with electricity and irrigation facilities.  He said that tribal children who are landless will be given help in the same way as Dalit Bandhu.  

KCR said that they have a special policy on wastelands.  he said that there are 66 lakh acres of forest land in the state.  He said reports have already been prepared on forest lands.  11.5 lakh acres will be distributed.  They expressed anger that the forests were being cut down by bringing in bunches.  Attacks on forest officials are not right.  Everyone knows the frauds done by the previous rulers to the tribals

Making a statement on the floor of the House, today, the Chief Minister said that it is not appropriate to politicize the forest land issue,  It has been clarified that wastelands are not a right.  It is an encroachment,  It is not right to curt forests indiscriminately.  He said that discussions are going on around the world on environmental protection.  They expressed their anger that waste and forest lands have been made like playthings for many people.  It is advised to ensure that atrocities are not committed against tribals.  some upper castes are marrying tribal girls.  Many upper castes in Khammam district have encroached upon the forest lands.  He questioned whether anyone has 10 or 20 acres of wasteland. 

He clarified that there is no doubt that the rights of the tribals must be protected.  He asked whether the state should have forest wealth or should it disappear.  We have all seen how the Narsapur forest became a desert.  The Chief Minister said that the process of rejuvenating the forests is going on.  He said that the green cover has increased by 7.8 percent in the state and is receiving praise. 

TRIBAL BANDHU ON PAR WITH DALIT BANDHU 

The Chief Minister said that the tribal children who are landless will be given help in the same as Dalit Bandhu.  However, the tribals who have got the lands want to guarantee that they will protect the wastelands from now on.  He said that the lands will be distributed only if they sign that the trees will not be cut down.  He said that the villages that do not come forward with the resolution will not be considered.  He made it clear that after the land distribution is completed if the forest areas encroach, there will be no peace and the deed will be canceled. 

He advised the police and forest officials not to attack the tribals.  At the same time, tribal attacks on officials will not be tolerated, Goondagiri is not good.  It was revealed that it is unreasonable to ask not to give land by cutting down the forest.  He said that from now on, it will not allow cutting even a single tree in the forest area.  Deforestation should come to a full stop somewhere.  He said that the forest boundaries will be set up and guarded by the armed forces.  It is suggested to stop the looting in the name of tribals.  He said that more measures will be taken to protect the environment.  He said that the protection of forests is the responsibility of all of us.  (Maxim News)
