DMEO Arrested For Taking Bribe Of Rs. 30,000 In Adilabad 

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (Maxim News): A District Medical Extension Officer (DMEO) of the medical and health department was arrested by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on charges of accepting a bribe from an owner of a medical shop here on Friday.

According to ACB DSP Vijay Kumar, Macherla Poshetti Ravi Shankar, the DMEO was apprehended while taking the bribe Rs. 30,000 from the shop owner. The bribe was to be sought for sending a favourable report in a case. The complainant was earlier booked allegedly for selling a medicine for abortion of pregnancy. 

The accused public servant was produced before a special court for ACB cases in Karimnagar.  Investigations were taken up.  (Maxim News)
