Door-To-Door Survey In Telangana Soon: Revanth 

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that his government will undertake a caste census program for political, social, and educational development.  He said that soon a door-to-door survey will be conducted to take up the caste census.

On the last day of the Assembly, the caste census resolution was debated,  Minister for BC Welfare and Transport, Ponnam Prabhakar introduced the caste census resolution in the Assembly. Later the Chief Minister spoke on this and said that caste census is being done to do justice to all castes in the legislative assembly. He reminded that Congress had formed a justice committee in the past.  He pointed out that the BRS has done the comprehensive family survey which was not introduced in the House? he criticized the BRS for using that survey only for elections. He said that they have no political intentions>  He commented that the caste census should not be doubted. 

He assured that the Congress would stand by the weaker sections. The Chief Minister asked the opposition parties to give suggestions if there is any doubt about the caste census resolution. If the opposition parties are aware of any legal implications of the resolution, they are requested to cooperate in implementing the resolutions.

The Chief Minister said that because of the caste census, half a percent of the people will suffer.  (Obviously referring to KCR caste which is only half percent of the population that family ruled the state and in position)  He said that Kadima Srihari is being misled by his party leaders. he said that those who misled Kkadiyam Srihari should be sent out or else the entire atmosphere and surroundings would be infected.  He said that the respective social leaders will come into the legislative assembly only if there are reservations. 

He advised the BRS leaders to discuss the manifestos one day.  he said let’s discuss the manifestos of the parties of 2014, 2018, and 2023 separately. “We are putting a resolution in the House with the approval of the Cabinet within a month of the formation of the government. “What have you done in these ten years?  Let’s discuss what we have done in these 60 days. said Revanth in the Assembly.

He said that this resolution is to make the weaker sections strong. He said that the idea of his party was to make the victims as rulers.  He said that the Congress government has been working for the welfare of the people of the state since the first day it came to power. He said that the Congress is taking steps with the determination to develop all the castes.  (Maxim News)
