Double-Bedroom Houses In Hyderabad For The First Time In This Decade Within A Week: KTR

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (Maxim News): Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, IT and Industries, K.Tarak Rama Rao held a high-level review meeting on the distribution process of double-bedroom houses built under GHMC.  

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Sabitha Indra Reddy, Mohd. Mahmood Ali, Ch. Mallareddy, Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud, and senior officials attended the meeting held at Pragati Bhavan, today.

GHMC has accelerated the process of distribution of double-bedroom houses in the wake of the announcement made by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar in his Independence Day speech for the first time in this decade after the construction of 70,000 houses has been completed.  

Officials informed the Ministers that 70,000 houses had already been completed in these nine and half years and are ready for distribution and the program to be provided to the eligible beneficiaries will be fast-tracked.  He said that the verification process of the beneficiaries who have already applied is almost complete. it claimed.

It is mentioned that the distribution of more than  75 thousand double-bedroom houses has already been completed.  He said that more than 4,500 houses have been provided to the beneficiaries in the city.  He said that around 70,000 houses that are ready for distribution will be provided in 5 or 6 phases.

He said that the distribution process of the first phase of double-bedroom houses will start next week.  GHMC officials have been instructed to complete the arrangements for this.  Ministers have given several instructions on the process of distribution of double bedroom houses.  He said that the people of the city are eagerly waiting in the district.  The Ministers said that there is no political involvement in the identification of the beneficiaries and the authorities have completed the field-level examination and identified the deserving ones.

On this occasion, the Ministers suggested that there should be a distribution program so that all the beneficiaries identified for the double-bedroom houses are presented at their allotted houses.  Selection of the beneficiaries of the Grilakhshmi scheme and speeding up the scheme were also discussed in the ministerial meeting.  (Maxim News)
