Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash Assumes Singareni Charge

Hyderabad: Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash has assumed charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni. The senior IAS officer officially took charge at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash is a 2002 batch Telangana cadre officer. He was appointed as the Chairman and MD of Singareni before assuming office. With this development, he begins his new role at the state run coal company. Meanwhile, officials and staff marked the formal assumption of charge at Singareni Bhavan.

Before this appointment, Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash served as Secretary to the Government of Scheduled Castes Development Department. He handled key administrative responsibilities in that role. Therefore, his elevation to Singareni Chairman marks another significant step in his career.

Over the years, Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash has gained extensive experience in several departments. He worked in transport, land records and social welfare. In addition, he held the post of Commissioner of Registration and Stamps. He also served as Inspector General. Later, he took charge as Survey Settlements and Land Records Commissioner.

Furthermore, he worked as Director of the Bhu Bharati Project. Through these assignments, he built experience in administration and governance. As a result, his appointment as Singareni Chairman and MD brings a senior officer with diverse exposure to the organisation.

The assumption of charge took place at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad. However, no further details were provided about the event. The focus remains on Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash taking over leadership of Singareni.
