Hyderabad, Jan.6 (Maxim News): Eminent psychiatrist Dr P.T. Chandramouli passed away on Monday morning. He was 92. He had retired as acting Superintendent of Institute of Mental Health, Erragadda, where he helped set up PG courses in Psychiatric Medicine. He plunged himself into social service after his retirement.
Dr P.T. Chandramouli served as president of National Medicos Association for four terms and was also the president of Bhagyanagar Vibhag of RSS for nearly two decades. He was the founding president of AP Karuneegar Association. Eminent citizens paid last respects to him at his residence in Banjara Hills. Funeral will be held on Wednesday. Dr Chandramouli’s son is well-known film director Jayanth C Paranji. His other son, Hemanth Paranji is an Emmy Award nominee for editing the Nightline Show on ABC News Network in New York.
