Hyderabad, Feb.11 (Maxim News): The issue of chief medical officer of Gandhi Hospital came to happy ending on Tuesday. Dr Vasanth was suspended from his post for deliberately carrying out misinformation campaign over corona virus. The State government issued his suspension order on Saturday.
However, he came to know about his suspension on Monday morning after he checked his mails. The doctor immediately tried to speak to his higher-ups on the issue, but failed to get any response. Dr Vasanth called on Health Minister Etela Rajender, but failed to get any positive response over revocation of his suspension orders. Left with no option, Dr Vasanth decided to commit suicide and reached the Gandhi hospital along with two bottles of petrol and a suicide letter. He began to talk about corruption in the hospital for an hour. He alleged that corruption in the hospital was much bigger than the ESIC scam. He claimed he was suspended as he had exposed several scams at the hospital. However, the police reached the spot and took him away with the petrol bottles before taking him into custody.
