Dragon And Elephant Should Play Together: Chinese President Jinping In Bilateral Meeting With PM Modi
SCO/Internet/Hyderabad, Aug 31 (Maxim News); Indian prime Minister Narendra Modi who visited China for the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SC). On this occasion, the Prime Minister met with Chinese president Xi Jinping.
Speaking on the occasion, Jinping said that it is the right decision for India and China to be friends. Xi Jinping said that he was very happy to meet Prime Minister Modi again. He recalled the meeting between the two leaders in Kazan last year.
He said the two countries, which have the largest populations in the world, are important members of the Global South. He said they have shouldered the responsibility of restoring relations keeping in mind the well-being of the people of both countries.
He hoped that friendly relations between them as neighboring countries would continue. He said that the coming together of the dragon and the elephant is the right choice in terms of contributing to the successes of both countries.
On this occasion, he said that stable and strong bilateral relations should be ensured for a long time. Jinping called on India and China to take responsibility for peace and prosperity in the world. (Maxim News)
