DRC Teams Urged to Execute Duties Efficiently and Responsibly, Emphasizes Ronald Rose

Hyderabad, May 8: (Maxim News): District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose emphasized the crucial role of Distribution and Reception Center (DRC) teams in ensuring the smooth conduct of parliamentary elections. Training sessions were held for DRC team officers at Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan in Jubilee Hills, aimed at equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective election management.

During the training, Rose underscored the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations of the Election Commission and maintaining seamless operations at the distribution and reception centers. He urged DRC teams to learn from past experiences and ensure efficient distribution and reception processes without any disruptions.

Ross outlined key responsibilities, including meticulous preparation of polling material and adherence to instructions from authorities. He instructed Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) to organize adequate labor for transportation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and polling materials, emphasizing thorough examination of all materials and documents at the reception counters.

Hyderabad District Collector and Returning Officer Anudeep Durishetti stressed the need for sector-wise distribution of EVMs and poll materials, along with the provision of essential infrastructure facilities and videography to ensure transparency.

Secunderabad Parliament Constituency Returning Officer Hemant Keshav Patil detailed arrangements and precautions to be taken at distribution and reception centers, emphasizing the importance of smooth operations and provision of necessary support to polling teams.

Rose reiterated the importance of facilitating the work of polling teams and ensuring their comfort and safety, including arrangements for transportation and provision of quality food. He suggested the formation of special teams for catering to polling staff and emphasized advanced planning and precautionary measures.

The training session saw the participation of various officials, including Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly Constituency Returning Officer CEO Madhukar Naik, District Election Training Classes Nodal Officer Additional Commissioner (Urban Basic Services) Sunanda, and other key personnel involved in election management.
