Drishti’s 500 Cataract Surgeries Charity Project To Be Launched Today
Hyderabad, June 15 (Maxim News): The 12th Edition of Freemasons Treasure Hunt and Drishti, a 500 Cataract Surgeries Charity Project will be launched on Sunday at St John’s Freemasons Hall, West Marredpally, Secunderabad.
In a pressnote here today, Lodge Keys Secretary D. Ramchandram stated the Treasure Hunt will be participated by 80 cars. It is being organized in the aid of charity activities. The Regional Grand Master of Regional Grand Lodge of Southern India, Abraham Markos will flag off the Treasure Hunt and three ARGMs Praful K. Sahgal, S. Janardhan, John Zacharia will join him as guests of honour.
Drishti, a 500 Cataract Surgeries Charity Project worth Rs 25 lakh, will also be launched. A Common Charity Program of Freemasons of Telangana region has been taken up in association with L V Prasad Eye Institute. The Freemasons aim at 500 Cataract Surgeries worth Rs 25 lakhs to be done to the deserving poor people in next six month free of cost. Funds for the same are voluntarily contributed by Freemasons Lodges and members. Chief guest Abraham Markos, Praful K. Sahgl, S. Janardhan, John Zacharia, will present a cheque to the representative of L.V. Prasad Eye Institute. (Maxim News)
