Hyderabad, April 7 (Maxim News): Thallapally Srinivas, Deputy Tahsildar, Land Reforms and Acquisition working at Warangal (Urban) was trapped on by ACB officials when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 1.30 lakh from the complainant retired Sub-Inspector C Madhusudhan Reddy, ACB statement said here today.
The accused officer alleged accepted the bribe from Reddy, residing at Hanamkonda, for showing official favour to process the file pertaining to enhancement of compensation for acquisition of land on the Yadadri to Warangal road in respect of complainant’s daughter and to credit the sanctioned amount into the account of complainant’s daughter.
The accused officer was arrested and was being produced before the Ist Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
