EC Decides Heroines Voter Cards Fake: Case Registered
Hyderabad, Oct 17 (Maxim News): It is known that voter cards in jubilee Hills constituency in Hyderabad have gone viral on social media claiming to have voted for famous heroines. Voter lists in the names of Tollywood heroines Tamannah, Samantha and Rakul Preet Singh have gone viral on social media.
Election officials, who are serious about the circulation of voter lists, have recently concluded that the voter list is fake, to this extent, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer Syed Yahia Kamal has filed a complaint with the Mathura Nagar Police. Based on the complaint of the election officer, the police have registered an FIR under sections 336(4), 353(1)(C) BNS and are investigating.
In the past two days, fake voter cars claiming to be votes for famous heroines in Jubilee Hills have been circulating on social media. Fake voter IDs were created with photos of Tollywood heroines Rakul Preet Singh, Samantha and Tamannah were being circulated by scammers.
Fake voter ID cards were made with photos of heroines with epic numbers of different voters, Hyderabad district election officials have expressed extreme anger over the circulation of these voter IDs. Were these fabricated? Who promoted them? The Election Commission has taken up an inquiry into the issues.
