EC failed in Munugodu by-poll management: Bandi

Hyderabad, Nov.2 (NSS): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that the Election Commission of India (EC) had failed in Munugodu by-election management. He alleged that the officials of the EC and police were working as per the directions of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He said he would go to Munugodu if the State ministers and MLAs were not made to leave the constituency. He said he would also give a call to all the party leaders and workers to come to Munugodu.

Talking to media persons after calling on senior party leader Pratap Reddy, who was undergoing treatment at Innova hospital and Ramesh Yadav, who got injured in a road accident at Malakpet based Yashoda hospital along with the party leaders like Boora Narsaiah Goud, State party vice president NVSS Prabhakar and others.

Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the ruling TRS party leaders were attacking their party leaders as they found that their party was going to lose the elections. He also alleged that the ruling party leaders tried to attack the party leaders like Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, party MLA Etala Rajender and the party candidate Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy.

He wondered if it was needed to stoop to such a level to win in a by-election. He alleged that the ruling party leaders tried to mislead the people by spreading false messages like his resignation on fake letter heads. (NSS)
