EC issues notices to MLA Raja Singh

Hyderabad, Feb.16 (Maxim News): The Election Commission of India (EC) has issued a notice to BJP MLA from the state Raja Singh for making controversial comments on Uttar Pradesh state elections.

In its notice , the EC said that Raja Singh had threatened the voters of UP that their houses would be razed down by UP CM Yogi Adityanath after coming into power if they did not vote for the BJP in the ongoing elections. He also said that those who want to live in Up should vote for the BJP.

The EC has asked the controversial MLA to submit his explanation within 24 hours. (Maxim News)
