ECI Issued A Revised Schedule For Revision Of 2nd Special Summary Revision Of Photo Electoral Rolls

Hyderabad, July 19 (Maxim News): The Election Commission of India has issued a revised schedule for the revision of the 2nd Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls stating that October 1, 2023, is the qualifying date for the enrollment in the electoral roll.

According to the revised schedule Publication of the draft electoral roll is August 21, 2023, the period for filing claims and objections is from August 21 to September 19, the disposal of claims and objections by October 1, 2023, and the final publication of the electoral roll is October 4.

According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Vikas Raj, all the electors/eligible citizens, who are attaining the age of 18 years on or before October 1, 2023, and those who missed enrolling themselves on earlier occasions can now file their applications on enrolment, objections and corrections during this 2nd Special Summary Revision upto September 19 in Form-6, Form 7 and Form 8 respectively. While filling out their applications, all the citizens/electors shall provide the information accurately in all the columns of the relevant Form 6, Form 7, and Form 8 as the case may be. All such applications can also be filed online on the website https://voters.eci.gov.in/ (Maxim News)
