ED Raids MLC Kavitha’s Relatives’ Homes in Hyderabad
ED Raids | Hyderabad, March 23: The sleuths of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are conducting searches in the houses of BRS leader and MLC K Kavitha‘s relatives houses in Hyderabad today.
ED officials have also conducted searches at the residences of MLC Kavitha’s relatives. Searches have been going on at the houses of Kavita’s husband Anil’s relatives since Saturday morning. Officials conducted inspections at Anil’s sister Akhila’s residence in Madapur.

ED officials arrived in Hyderabad at 6:30 am on Saturday to conduct inspections at the residence of Kavitha Udapaduchu Akhila. A team of seven officers from the ED is currently searching.
This sudden action has sparked widespread discussion, particularly following Kavitha’s arrest, prompting questions about the reasons behind the search.
The ongoing raids following Kavitha’s arrest have garnered attention, indicating that these actions are based on information provided by Kavitha,
Speculation ranges from local streets to the corridors of power in Delhi, with many wondering whether Kavita will be released by the ED.
On the other hand, Kavita’s ED custody will end today. After 12.30 pm, she will be produced in the Rouse Avenue CBI special court.
The ED officials who have taken the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal into their custody in the liquor case, are likely to interrogate Kejriwal and Kavitha at the same time.
In the background, it is reported that the ED officials will ask to give Kavitha custody for another 5 days.
Later on, A Delhi Court on Saturday further remanded Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till March 26 in the money laundering case connected with the alleged liquor policy scam.
Special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Courts passed the order after Kavitha was produced in court on the expiry of her ED remand. The central probe agency had sought a further 5 days of custody for the BRS leader.
