ED Rejected Plea Of Pilot Rohit Reddy: Asked To Appear Today

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) inquiring into the Bangalore Drug case has rejected the plea of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA from Tandur, Pilot Rohit Reddy for giving him more time saying that he does not have complete information, but the ED officials rejected his request and made it clear that under any circumstances he has to appear today.

As Pilot Rohit Reddy wanted to delay the inquiry and skip today’s meeting, he went straight to Pragati Bhavan, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s residence-cum-office, and held a discussion for about an hour. Rohit Reddy decided to stay away from this ED investigation on the instructions of the Chief Minister and decided to ask ED for some more time.

A letter has been written to the ED with a lawyer in this regard. In that letter, MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy stated that he has been allotted very little time and needs another week. He said that he could not take bank statements or other documents due to consecutive holidays. After examining the letter, the ED rejected the MLA’s request and made it clear that he has to appear today, With this, Rohit Reddy will attend the ED inquiry at 3. O’clock in the evening.
