ED Speeds Up Investigation In Sheep Scam Reached Animal Husbandry Dept.
Hyderabad, June 14 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has increased its aggressiveness in the investigation of the Sheep scam. As part of this, ED officials reached the office of the State Animal Husbandry Department today morning.

It is known that the ED officials have already written a letter to the Animal Husbandry Department about the distribution of sheep. In the said letter, he asked to give details regarding 10 items.
Further, ACB has registered a case against the sheep distribution scam. Based on the case registered by ACB, ED has sought details of the scam.

However, the ACB officials found that Rs. 1000 crore of irregularities were committed in the distribution of sheep across the state.
The police have already arrested six people in connection with this scam. Meanwhile, the ED will investigate the aspect of money laundering as part of the distribution of sheep.

The ED has asked the district-wise names of beneficiaries, their addresses, phone numbers, bank account details, etc.
The details of which district officials have been deposited in the accounts of the federal government for the purchase of sheep, the bank account information, the funds deposited as the beneficiaries share, in which accounts have they been deposited? Information of sheep transport agencies, details of payments made to them, fodder purchased for sheep, and to which beneficiaries it was sent? The ED has asked for detailed details of who has been funded for this. (Maxim News)
