ED Steps Into Field To Investigate Sheep Scam In Telangana

Hyderabad, June 13 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has stepped into the field to investigate the sheep scam. ED has focussed on the sheep distribution scam in which Rs. 700 crore was corrupted.

Officials have found evidence that money has changed hands on a large scale during the implementation of the scheme. ED has sent a letter to the Animal Husbandry Department officials to provide complete details regarding the scheme.

Former MD Ram Chander Naik and OSD Kalyan Kumar did not cooperate with the ACB officials who were investigating the scam in sheep distribution.

After completion of the three-day custodial trial, the authorities sent them back to Chanchalguda Jail. (Maxim News)
