ED Summons Officials Again In Formula E-Car Race Case To Appear On 8th And 9th Of This Month
Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Maxim News): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned the officials again for the investigation in the Formula E -car race case. It has called BLN Reddy and Arvind Kumar to appear on the 8th and 9th of this month.

However, the officials requested that they need some time, two to three weeks. With this, the ED has sent notices to them to appear on the 8th and 9th of this month. Meanwhile, HMDA former chief engineer BLN Reddy did ot appear for the ED investigation in the Formula E car race case on Thursday. He requested the ED officials through an email that he needed some time. They responded positively and said that they would call him again.
Senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar, who was supposed to appear for the investigation on Friday, also said that he could not come and asked for another date. With this, the officials said that he would also be called for questioning on another day. The High Court’s verdict on the quash petition filed by KTR in the ACB case in the Formula-E car race affair is reserved.
It seems that BLN Reddy and Arvind Kumar intend to take a decision on whether to attend the hearing after the verdict. The ED has already issued a summons to KTR to appear on the 7th of this month. It is possible that only after the High Court’s verdict will it be known whether KTR will attend the hearing or not.
It is known that the Hyderabad Formula car race case has become a sensation. On one hand, the ACB is investigating, on the other hand, the ED is preparing for an investigation. As part of this, BLN Reddy, who worked as the Chief Engineer of HMDA during the BRS regime, has been called for investigation. However, BLN Reddy has evaded the ED investigation. He has emailed the Joint Director investigating the case, requesting more time to appear for the investigation.

Meanwhile, after thoroughly examining the files of the respective departments in this matter, the AZCB registered an FIR against three people who came to know about irregularities in the cash transfer. It included the names of KTR as A1, IAS officer Arvind Kumar as A2, and BLN Reddy as A3.
In the wake of the ACB registering the FIR, former minister KTR immediately approached the High Court. A lunch motion petition was filed to quash the ACB case. With this, former minister KTR got a small relief in the Telangana High Court regarding this case. It issued orders to the Telangana government not to make any arrests until the verdict is delivered.
The orders given by the Telangana High Court reached the ACB officials. With this, the ACB officials questioned the complainant Dana Kishore, and recorded his statement. Dana Kishore stated to the ACB that approximately Rs. 55 crore cash was transferred to the SEO through the HMDA under their jurisdiction. (Maxim News)
