Thousands of people are taking to the streets to protest. This has led to unrest in Bangladesh. During these protests, the interim head of the Bangladesh government, Muhammad Yunus, made a key announcement. He said that elections in Bangladesh will be held on time. He informed this to the US diplomat in India, Sergio Gor.
