Hyderabad, Sept 1 (Maxim News): The employees of Telangana Secretariat staged a massive protest in Hyderabad today demanding immediate resolution of their long-standing issues. Employees protested in front of ‘Bahubali’ gate at Secretariat complex.
The protest meeting was organized by Telangana Secretariat Association, where the employees demanded for the immediate formation of the second Pay Revision Commission (PRC), prompt payment of six pending Dearness Allowances (DAs) and withdrawal of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and its immediate replacement by the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Employees also demanded quick settlement of pending bills of various departments.
The protest meeting was held during the lunch hour of the employees. Employees from all over the State took part in the protest demanding immediate action to address their grievances. (Maxim News)
