Empty Charminar Express Catches Fire At Nampally
Hyderabad, April 9 (Maxim News): A coach of the Chennai-Hyderabad Charminar Express train caught fire on Tuesday at Nampally Railway Station.
According to the information, heavy smoke started billowing out of the 2nd coach after the train arrived on platform number 6 from Chennai at around 10 am. The railway staff swung into action and separated the coach from the train and put out the fire after much difficulty.
Luckily the incident took place after the passengers alighted from the train and the coaches were padlocked only to move to the PIT line. No one said to be injured in the incident. However, it is suspected that a short-circuit might be a reason behind the fire. (Maxim News)
