Eve-Teasing Declined By 85%: Mahesh

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat said after the formation of SHE Teams wing, cases related to harassment of women under Rachakonda limits had come down by 85 percent.

On the eve of International Women’s Day, the Commissioner participated in a cake cutting ceremony at the Cyberabad Commissionerate Office, Gachibowli, on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhagwat said in 2017-2018, the SHE Teams wing had stopped as many as 24 child marriages and booked 629 suspects, who were caught red-handed for harassing women.
