Ex-AIMIM MLA Virasat Rasool Khan Passes Away

Hyderabad: Former AIMIM MLA Virasat Rasool Khan passed away on Tuesday due to health complications in Hyderabad.

Khan had a long-standing association with the AIMIM party, spanning nearly four decades. He was first elected as an MLA from the Charminar constituency in 1989 and later represented the Nampally Assembly constituency in 2009.

He is survived by his wife and one son. The Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer) for Virasat Rasool Khan will be offered at Masjid Alamgeer in Shantinagar after Maghrib prayers.
