Extreme Tension In Mahabubabad: Police Removed Poor People’s Huts Forcefully

Mahbubabad/Hyderabad, July 3 (Maxim News): A lot of tension prevailed in the Mahabubabad district center. The police forcefully removed the huts of the poor people living there near the district collectorate.

Homeless people and the poor have built huts on 6 acres of survey number 255/1. They put up places to give houses. However, the police removed the huts where the poor lived amid heavy security.

While removing the huts, the women stopped the revenue officials and their staff. In this order, there was tension between the women and the police. The police lathi-charged the hut dwellers.

Some women fell down in the fight. The police arrested the protesters amid intense tension. This is the sixth time the slums of the poor have been demolished.

The poor are questioning whether the state government, which is giving land to corporate companies, should give land to people like them. They are demanding that they must be given degrees.

They are questioning why government land is not distributed to them. A few hundred families live on 6 acres. They are questioning the reason for removing the huts in such an outrageous manner.

The police say that they are removing the huts only on the orders of the revenue officials. Currently, police presence is continuing at the scene. (Maxim News)
