Fake RC books case: Five arrested in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The Rachakonda sleuths of L.B.Nagar Zone have arrested a five-member gang along with two second hand two wheeler agents, who were preparing duplicate RC books and seized 47 duplicate RCs, 102 Plain RC Plastic cards, RC cards embossing machine, Rs.27,000 from their possession.
The accused were identified as Sai Kiran, 21, of Veerannagutta, Hayatnagar, Palem Mahesh, 26, mechanic of Epuru village under Chityal mandal of Nalgonda district, A. Bhagwandas of R.K Motors Consultancy, Ramkote, Imran Khan, spare parts dealer of Rizwan Colony, Shastripuram, Mailardevpally and Mohd Afroze Khan of Shoeb Colony, Hasan Nagar.
Police said the accused were indulging in preparation of duplicate RC books of two wheelers which they purchase in auction from various private banks and finance companies. On a tip-off, the SOT of L.B.Nagar Zone apprehended all the five during enquiry. They confessed to their offence. The cops also seized 47 duplicate RCs, 102 Plain RC Plastic cards, RC cards embossing machine, Rs 27,000 from their possession
This raids were conducted under the supervision of K. Narsing Rao, Inspector I/C SOT, Rachakonda by M.Kashi Vishwanath, Sub-Inspector and staff of SOT, L.B.Nagar, Rachakonda and Naveen, Inspector and staff of Choutuppal PS.
