Farmers’ Agitation Against Kamareddy Master Plan Continues

Kamareddy/Hyderabad, Jan 7 (Maxim News): Farmers’ agitation against the Kamareddy master plan continues for the 3rd day, today. In protest against the attack on the farmers yesterday, farmers protested at the Collectorate.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, President, and MP Revanth Reddy’s visit to Adlur Ellareddy continues to be exciting. Revanth Reddy’s visit today and Bandi Sanjay’s BJP State President and MP visit yesterday has created tension in the area. On the other hand, the farmers are angry with the behavior of the district collector. Till now the collector has not met the farmers.

It may be recalled that farmer Ramulu of Adlur Ellareddy, Sadashivanagar Mandal, committed suicide recently because he was worried about the loss of land due to the Kamareddy Master Plan, Bandi Sanjay visited the Ramulu family yesterday. He supported the farmers’ agitation against the master plan. Later Bandi Sanjay seized the District Collectorate along with farmers, BJP leaders, and activists. On this occasion, there was great tension. There was a scuffle between farmers, BJP workers, and the police. Some BJP workers were injured in the scuffle. some of them fell down. Finally, the police took Bandi Sanjay into custody and took him to Hyderabad.

Bandi Sanjay warned that they will stand by the farmers’ struggle and will continue till the cancellation of the master plan. He said that BJP is not against the Industrial zone, but it is not appropriate to grab the land that grows two crops in a year. (Maxim News)
